Your transport to the wedding should be as memorable as the rest of the day, simply arriving is not good enough -
you should be making a grand entrance!

There is a vast range of cars available from the earliest vintage models up to current day vehicles. Whatever you choose, satisfy yourself that the supplier has the resources and experience to do the job properly.

The best man arranges for the Groom to arrive at the church. The Groom's parents usually take themselves. After the service, the bridesmaids often travel to the reception with their parents or partners. Your arrangements may well require two or more cars. Make sure the vehicle projects the image that you are seeking and if it photographs well, even better, It should also have enough room for you and your wedding attire. Door size and head room should be considered.

You should budget around £295-£450 per car for a quality product and find out if your requirements will incur further costs, for example - if your chosen venues are miles apart or any of your locations are some distance from the suppliers base.

Any reputable company should offer the following within their standard fee -

- Uniformed Chauffeur
- Ribbons and floral display
- Wedding insurance cover

As with anything, if you've been quoted a cheap price, there is a reason.  The most likely is they do not have proper insurance, the car is in a less than acceptable condition, they are not experienced.
BEWARE!  You get nothing for nothing. 

Be careful with full open convertible cars - if you have to sit a long way back from the windscreen then you may get blown around. Sitting in a stationary car is one thing, when it is moving it is quite different. Also, try getting in the car with the hood on and imagine that you are restricted by your wedding clothes!  The perfect alternative to a completely open top car is a landaulette.  You have the advantage of the the top being open or closed in seconds, and because the whole compartment of the vehicle is not open, you won't get blown about and there is complete ease of access even when the hood is closed.

Finally, this may well be the only time you will have the opportunity to travel in one of these beautiful machines, so choose carefully, never feel ostentatious - you can never be over the top, this is the one day in your lives for pushing the boat out, so enjoy yourselves.
